Many of you know I have a passion for the great outdoors! My Dad started taking me fishing when I was 2 and I started my own fishing guide service before I was old enough to even drive a car! I was a fishing guide in Minnesota for 35+ years and loved every minute of it! Many many of my clients became good friends and are still good friends to this day! In 2007 I moved to Austin, Texas and now I'm happy to say I'm back guiding in Texas! It has been a bit of a learning curve as fishing the lakes/reservoirs of Texas are quite different from the natural lakes of Minnesota. Saying that, I've been spending as much time as possible when I'm home on the water and I'm having a ball!
The crappie, bass, white bass and striped bass fishing is incredible and I'd love to share time on the water with you! I've got some Northern Minnesota fishing techniques that the fish are not used to seeing on these southern waters that have been working very well!
Through the Dick Beardsley Foundation, I also will be offering fishing trips, at no cost, if eligibility requirements are met, for "at risk" kids and also people struggling with chemical dependency.
